Brisa & Carter: Engagement Session at Midtown Park

Brisa and Carter are fresh out of college and make such a sweet pair! They met through a campus ministry and just graduated from Appalachian State. Carter already has a job waiting for him in VA! You know you're on the road to success if you have a job lined up before graduation!Brisa found us through instagram, funny though, something so unrelated to weddings actually! When we're not shooting weddings, we do lots of video work during the week. One of our regular clients is Author and Apologist Frank Turek. We capture video for Direct TV on Monday nights of his men's apologetics Bible studies. He also travels around to college campuses and speaks to young adults about religion and science. He loves a good debate, and getting video of this for Facebook Live has been so fun! We shared a behind the scenes shot on instagram, and Brisa was actually at the talk Frank organized at App State. We love a good "how did you hear about us?" story! And now we get to be a part of Brisa and Carter's August wedding at the Dairy Barn. So thanks Frank ;)We had a beautiful day at Midtown Park, walking the area and up and down the greenway. It's a perfect mix of city and park there. Many people love the skyline view but still want some greenery, and this park is always one of our first suggestions! It's easily accessible and has a great variety of looks and feels.
