Jessica & Chris: Married at Foundation for the Carolinas

We were floored when we met Jessica and Chris at the Bridal Showcase in uptown Charlotte. They came up to our booth and started chatting with us, and we instantly clicked. They were one of those couples you can't forget - striking, genuine, specific on what they were looking for, and all around memorable people. We couldn't wait to meet with them one on one and when they chose to book both photography and videography, we knew it was going to be an event we'd always remember! And that it was!Jessica and Chris had such an amazing wedding day! From the details, the stunning dress, one of the most debonaire suites we've seen yet, and all the lovely reception decor, they knocked it all out of the park! Jessica got ready at Charlotte Marriott City Center. Their hotel rooms are so unique! One of our favorite moments was when Jessica teared up when reading a note Chris wrote to her (sorry Jessica we told on you!).We were so happy they chose to do a first look for their wedding! If anyone knows us or has spoken to us about this, they know we're big believers in first looks! We know not everyone will want to do it, but when they do it just makes the wedding day go by so smoothly. And our couples can really enjoy spending time taking their portraits rather than feeling rushed through it all. Even though it was probably one of the most windiest days of the year, they dealt with it! They trusted us to get what we needed and thankfully Foundation for the Carolinas has the perfect rooftop area with some beautiful greenery and views! We had such a blast working with this couple.
