Austin & Alex: Engaged!

Oh my. Where do I even begin?!? I’m speechless. For more than one reason. Austin and Alex have been together for years! Their interest for each other (believe it or not) actually started back in middle school. After a long time, they reconnected and have been inseparable ever since! Alex is an amazing artist, heavily talented in acrylics, she mostly really enjoys surrealism and her work can randomly be found around town! She teaches art classes and works at Cheap Joe’s! With that fiery red hair, I can’t help but imagine how amazing she’ll look in her wedding dress on the big day come November!Austin, among plenty of other things, is my dear little brother! And I don’t have enough words for him! He’s a passionate, strong man and I know he’ll be an amazing husband! He works at the Ballantyne Hotel as an event tech. It was only appropriate that we used their beautiful grounds as the start of this Charlotte engagement session! THEN, we traveled to a nearby field for some fun! I won’t spoil it!I’m so honored to have had the chance to photograph these two! We’ve been talking about doing a session for a couple years now, so once engaged, we had to make it happen! I am happy to say they found an awesome photographer out of Seattle (http://www.echo-photo.com/) to come photograph the wedding, so that I can enjoy the day as one of Alex’s bridesmaids!Words cannot express my excitement for these two! It’s been a long time coming and a hard road, and I’m blessed to be a part of it on both sides of the camera! Enjoy their pictures!
