Kate & Chris: Engaged!

It doesn’t happen often that I get a couple willing to wake up so early to prepare for a sunrise session! But then came Kate & Chris! They have a beautiful home off Lake Norman in Mt. Holly and when they asked about doing a sunrise session, I couldn’t jump at the opportunity any quicker! Although my drive up was in the rainy dark, the sky cleared so beautifully and created a dreamy view! This couple is so much fun and I’m so grateful they signed us up to capture their wedding day in July! They had yummy coffee when I arrived and Kate was just finishing up her makeup! I can’t even imagine how early Sabrina with Be Pretty had to get there to get started! She did a wonderful job beautifying Kate, though I’m sure it didn’t take too much work! Coffee during the sunrise, some time down by the dock, and then an awesome boat ride with the perfect weather over to the sand bar finished up the engagement session on the lake! Boy, do I have some great couples this year! I can’t wait for this one’s wedding July 3rd!
