Madison and Victor: Engaged!

One month away! Madison and Victor are literally some of our favorite people ever - and for good reason! Madison is my (Brittany’s) baby sister! And she’s marrying the man of her dreams, Victor, in just one month! To say we are super excited would be an understatement!

Madison and Vic met at college at Liberty University their freshman year. They started off as very strong friends and their love for each other grew in the years to come. They always said that if they ever had feelings for each other, they would come out and say it, being totally up front and honest. Well, that day came for Victor and for a while, it left Madison so confused! But she came to terms with how much of an amazing man Victor is and she hated the thought of living life without him! He is such a caring gentleman and the perfect fit for her!

Victor "popped the question" at the base of a waterfall back in February while hiking one of their favorite spots in Virginia. I actually went up and hid in the side of the mountain, quite literally, to get some photos of this! I never blogged them so we'll include a few below! (Side note: this is the perks to having a sister as a photographer! But men! Hiring a photog for the proposal is becoming more common! Consider it, she'll love it!) We still wanted to plan a full engagement session experience so we met in Southend in Charlotte and got some cool, more urban, industrial shots! Madison was born here and they wanted some memories captured here since the wedding will be in Virginia. We had so much fun and got some cool reflective sunset shots at our new office space for Discover Love, uptown on College St. Then we went out onto our balcony and finished in the lounge area. We love our city!
