Mallory + Patrick: Engagement Session at Midtown Park

The second we met Mallory and her parents for their consultation, we knew we would be a great fit for this family! We always like to put off talking about what we can "offer people" and just get to know our potential clients a bit first. We could not stop chatting with Mallory and her parents! They are such a great family.Sometimes, we don't meet the groom before booking, and this was the case for Patrick. We still "got to know him" by asking about him and what he does, etc. But it gave this engagement session a little more influence as we had to remember that this was our first impression for Patrick. We had such a great time at Midtown Park in Uptown Charlotte, NC. Mallory and Patrick definitely wanted a location that offered the Charlotte skyline view, but weren't wanting to be quite in the city. We knew Midtown was a great option for them. We love this park! It offers so much variety within a small area, and it's right alongside the Little Sugar Creek Greenway.We are so excited to be working with Mallory and Patrick! They are getting married on our anniversary! So in married-business-owner-style, we knew we'd be honored to capture someone else's wedding memories on a day that means so much to us! We still get to spend the day together, and we'll be doing what we love! We can't wait for their wedding next April! Here are some of our favorite shots from their engagement session.
