Kelly & Duane: Wedding at Camellia Gardens in Monroe, NC

Kelly and Duane are quite legitimately a perfect match! We never really feel our couples aren't a perfect match - we have fantastic clients all around! But Kelly and Duane are made for each other! We've talked about our new theory regarding meeting people online and here's another case! Kelly and Duane met on Bumble! We can now add Bumble to the list of "met online" weddings we've shot. We love it! We've done match.com weddings, Tinder, Christian Mingle, you name it! And now Bumble :)Kelly and Duane stumbled upon our booth at the January 2017 Bridal Showcase in Uptown Charlotte. We meet a lot of people, but it's always funny how it's the ones that stick out to us and are memorable to us that end up booking! There's always an immediate draw to have great conversation with these people, and it just feels right! It should anyways since you're going to essentially invite us to spend 8+ hours with you on your wedding day! Kelly and Duane both love beer and their first date was at Legion Brewery, so we had a blast traipsing around the Noda area and then Legion allowed us to go inside and take a few shots. It was a good time!Their wedding day at Camellia Gardens was so beautiful. It was the perfect fall day. There was beautiful colors on the trees and in those stunning red dresses for the bridesmaids. The decor for the reception included some fall foliage and lanterns. Some of the most memorable parts of the day were the ceremony where both of them became beautifully emotional saying their vows to one another, and during the dance party, Duane's father was brought out and surrounded during a song that him and his father share a love for together. We were overjoyed to be a part of this day for them and are thrilled to share some favorites!
